That should be ok, I ran BF2 with real simple specs and it did fine.

AMD Athlon64 1.8Ghz
1 GB DDR400
ATi Radeon x700 PRO (256mb)

Now Ive purchased a server type motherboard (Dual Socket 940) not to mention the opteron processors but I dont really plan on using it for gaming :]
