Graphic error

What can be causing these symptoms...

A. When the game's intro begins, there is a very thin red strip around the left and top edge.

B. This strip is still visible after logging in, except it is not red it is white.

C. The strip does not appear in game, but when I open the command console the font is messed up. It looks like there are two consoles slightly offset, making the font blurry.

I'm not sure if this is effecting game play or not, but any tips would be appreciated.

may be the blurr is because u are drunk and i have the same thing but not the blurr.

I had this once... Are u running a ati card? Of so, try disabling some extra options, such as alternate pixel center, triple buffering.. Solved my problems. Maybe it solves yours too..

Lol, i have always had this same thing. I have had 3 processors, 2 motherboards and 4 graphics cards of all flavours since BF2 has been out and even after countless reformats over times it persists. It doesnt worry me but i would love to know what the deal is.

Try going into your monitor controls and making it perform 'auto adjust'

in order of most to least likely:

heat
corrupt drivers
damaged silicon.

Probably your video card although you should be experiencing other problems outside of bf2, or at least another game.
