no... no they didn't, well not for me anyways, its the people that couldn't adapt, mind you it looked silly with all the divers, it looked like seaworld at the karkand hotel, but they were still good times, the freedom of movement they completely ruined.
The only problem with it was the macros for it, without macros it really set people apart skill wise. Any ol noob can pick up a G36E nowadays and own, back then it was a different story.

Get a grip FFS, its a frigging GAME!
Don't like the way it is now?
Not a problem, de-patch your copy of the GAME to the patch that you liked best and hey presto! dolphin dive away to your hearts content!
Only you'll be doing it without ruining the game for other people that have also payed for it.
Yeah and not to meantion the C4 chuckers back in the old patch!! I hated having c4 thrown at me like a nade or having c4 thrown over a wall at you. At least they should have made c4 able to blast a crater in the road or take out a wall or fence....but no.....lol......its BF2....reality at its finest!!
The dolphin diving looked silly as all hell, but it worked.....just made it a little harder for me to hit with my sniper rifle...lol

whats wrong with talking about the olden days???
not like you have a go at people saying "wasn't like this in my day" and then turn around to them and say something like "hey go die and relive it then"

Oh forget it :)
All I was saying is that if you think it was THAT good then go and play it that way, because you CAN :|:
I had a guy do this to me. It looked like he jumped off a building and then fired his AT rocket. I also saw him do it to several other people so I started a local game to see how it was possible. Also complaining during the game didnt get any response. The only way I was able to get the same effect was to run off the edge of the building, not jump, and I could fire my weapon, any weapon, before I hit the ground. With two computers at my home running the game I was able to see it looked like I had jumped off the building, from the ground view of the other player, and fired the weapon. Best I could figure that had to be what happened. It was the only way I could do what I had observed the other guy doing.
There may be another way to do this but I didnt find it. I hope this explains what you saw. . . . . . . . . .Red
