uniquenick in use? dont think so

I tried creating a new account today but for some reason it keeps saying that the unique nick is in use which is not because i have checked a thousand times for that nick to verify that it was indeed in use but i haven't found it. I have tried entering random emails to see if that was it and also tried variations of the nick like putting "|" and stuff like that but to no avail. Anybody know whats up with this?

If you are trying to make second account you will need to have a diffrent
e-mail addrees that your other(s) account(s)

Also, someone might have registered that name, but not have over 100 global points. In that case, they won't show on some stats sites.
