My Battlefield Wont connect

Im having a problem when i try to connect to battlefield , it says "The server refused the connection" , i was having a problem either before get out the battlefield.. when i clicked on BFHQ my game just stopped working and i couldnt do nothing , i had to reboot my computer! and my XFIRE either wont connect , and i cant get in the xfire website also! ehh i guess im with some virus/spyware or my computer right?

I think it's more likely a firewall problem or something.

either that or your internet is messed up?

Are you using another computer on your net to post or a friends house?

Need more information as for your ISP, computer OS, do you use anti-virus, any spyware removal tools?

Im using my computer... i have adsl2+ 10mb , i run WIN XP SP2 , my antivirus is NOD32 , i dont have a firewall , i just installed Spybot and AD-AWARE and did the scans found something but nothing that i think would may cause the problem , im surprised because it happened all sudden while i was playing , my xifre disconnected and i lost my connection from the server , and then i couldnt go to BFHQ , then i got out the game and tried to reconnect xfire and it didnt work , and then tried to go to BF2 again and had the problem!
i want to find a solution because i dont feel like reformmating my computer , too much stuff to backup!

turn all your firewalls off (oo scary) and try it.

it's not a pc problem because it's just not receiving connecting, it's not like you're failing to load.

Any routers try opening ports, make sure windows firewall allows access, etc.

hmm i dont have a firewall just windows firewall runs , and it still not working after i turned it off.. either xfire..the connection just time out and dont connect ,ah im getting pissed!

all right i just opened the required ports for XFIRE , but the thing is .. i didnt need it before it was working just about some hours ago! thats what i dont understand... all the sudden it disconnected! i did a scan with NOD32 found some virus i got all clean now! did a scan with spybot as well , all clean , and it still not working... firewall of WINDOWS turned off! NOD32 turned off! im gonna turn off my modem and then turn on again and reboot my computer , lets see what happens! :/ not that i have any hope! :dead:

EDIT : didnt work at all lol.. well i really dont know what could be wrong!
