Why I hate 98% of the BF2 players.

I normally don't complain about this stuff here but I'm SO frustrated right now.
This is what happened, I was commanding for the USMC. We were doing good, we were winning by 200 tickets, yep folks 200 TICKETS AND WE LOST! Wanna hear the rest? than read on. This is how it went, I spawned as spec ops the second the round started and tossed C4's at the TV Station flag (Sharqi), about 12 people were at the TV station before it was captured, 12 people!!!! A squad of MEC's broke through and started capturing, it got grey, I detonated and killed all 6 of them. The flag is still grey, so I go to capture it, Im killed by a claymore from 20 feet, so I figured "Its okay, theres 12+ people there and NO ENEMIES"
The flag remained grey for over FIVE ****ING MINUTES before the MEC captured it, ALL THE WHILE IM SCREAMING AT MY TEAM TO GO AND CAPTURE THE ****ING FLAG THAT IS GREY BUT THEY DONT LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :wall: :censored: :censored: :cry: We were ahead by 200 tickets, and the MEC came back to win. I got the flag grey over 3 times and each time I told the 3+ team mates that were with me to go capture it, they go in and ALL die every single time.

I hear ya and feel your pain. If I was on your team, i sure that flag would have been taken back with no problems People need to realize that's the most important flag for the Us, don't lose it.

claymores and shotguns work well for defence.

Incases like that, Ill be telling a squad what kits I want at the flag.

CQ I was there with ya man. I almost put a hole in my wall. The flag was capped by 1 yes 1 lone mec soldier. Our whole team was either on the TV roof or out in front of the tv station. I must have typed "TV FLAG" about 100 times and we still lost it. I think the majority of players don't look at the chat screen or the mini-map.

And first of all it's the cobra pilots job to keep an eye on that tv station. That cobra was flying around somewhere over hotel for no apparent reason and offering no support to us what so ever. I was absolutely mortified to be part of that team.

I almost lost it myself when I picked up a gunner that would use the TV for infantry and the cannon for armored targets. After 15 minutes he bailed out so I picked up another gunner who didn't do anything, he just sat there.

Maybe he enjoyed the view of a horizon and didn't bother doing his job

yeah BUT... there's nothing worse than a stupid commander or squad leader (NOT SAYING YOU ARE ONE) who yells and screams at you... especially if your doing the right thing... I had this loner commander telling all us squad leaders how we all were going to die in real life cos we sucked at BF2 and how his mother had kicked him outa her house cos he was a 34 year old knob with no job... my best sollution, dont listen and teach them a lesson, or join another server!

I know how you feel but sometimes it just happens. I have been on teams where we are dominating the field with a giant point lead and then for some odd reason we lose every flag. Oh , and then you will have people flying around in the jets instead of bailing and trying to capture a flag.

dito, u were noob once! I do dipstick things myself, and see teammates doing same goofs, its just way it is.

maybe a serious clan is way to go dude, i know i've seen some come in a room, get on same team & with teamwork absolutely shut the game Down, sweeett:salute:

If it was just one or two people not realizing the flag was neutral, but 12 people hanging out at the TV station? I would side with the OP. I doubt they will all new to the game and didn't realize what was going on. More than likely, they were fairly experienced at the game and didn't care what was going on.

These type of people are frustrating because they aren't playing the game as it was designed to be played (i.e. maintain as many flags as you can). It's like going to Disneyland and sitting on bench all day and not going on any rides or see any shows, what's the point?
