    what were they thinking???

Maybe for computer games but have you guys checked out any sports games for actual consoles. EA rules the console sports world. They just got their hands in other things.

Yea very true, EA's other products are very good and have always been very good. BF2 was quite a disappointment with all the media leading up to its release then we got this crap.

it is only for the bullets u kill people with and not non fatal hits!

leaving out the true accuracy scale of it

explain? my accuracy is near 30% you would think that means i hit people with 30% of my shots no?

BF2 was way before finished when released, it was supposed to come out around november of 2005, just look at the back cover or ad clips of what BF2 was supposed to look like, wow. i want my Blackhawk rocket pods and my infantry laser designators, oh and who could forget the hover boat.... all left out of the final game.

as far as i see it the scale is based on kills not hits...so u kill people with 30% of your shots,NOT hit.

what about the 70% rest of them do u spray alot into the air?

if it was based on hits and not kills it would be 50% + for a sniper or greater

being a sniper lately i hardly miss at all,i hold my trigger but my fav the svd can take three shots to kill sometimes(less its to the head)

now it is only based on did i kill him(and how many bullets did it take) not all those times i winged someone:cry: and not killed them

had it been released as it was promoted, it probably would have been alot better but more bugs maybe who knows.

Im confused if they only count the bullets you kill people with then how come my accuracy is not 100%??? if it only counts the bullets that kill them then how do I get a miss if i cant miss them but still kill them?

I think he's saying that if you shoot 100 rounds, 10 hit, and the 10th is the kill shot, you only get 1% accuracy.

However, I can tell you that this is false. I know that a great majority of my AT shots don't kill anything. I shoot tanks, not troops. So when my accuracy says 54%, I know that it has to be counting hits compared to total shots. I rarely get the kill shot on tanks, I just help armor finish them off. Just like my accuracy is decent with sniper rifles, even though I rarely get the kill. I just wound people and let the other guys have a bunch of easy kills. I've spent entire rounds nailing body shots and only getting a couple of kills, but I got 20+ kill damage assists. If it only counted kill shots, my accuracy would be much lower.

The easiest way to prove this to be absolutely false is create an account running around on IO reviving people and don't kill anyone at all. You will get 100% accuracy.
