I started reading through old posts yesterday morning. I have had BF2 since early 2005 and I just kinda got burned out on it a while back so I havent played since aruond early 2006. I became very intreagued with the special forces while I was reading yesterday morning. I had no idea you can get additional weapons for bf just for having the sf pack. So, me, always having to have something new, I ran out and bought sf. I came home and uninstalled my old bf file and installed the deluxe cd i bought with both games on it. Jumped into and sf server and really enjoyed some of the different aspects of the game. Mostly zip lines and what not. I played for 5 hours on sf. Now I have just a few questions. And if you feel the need to tell me to use the search function, please, just dont reply because I think i have looked through all 467 million freakin posts while getting familiar with sf. I'm not a n00b, just cant find a straight forward answer to my current situation.
My account is at the rank of Staff Seargant. I had 7090 points as of like thursday when I decided to play a few rounds. I had played a few rounds last week and noticed that stats were not updating so I did do some reading up on the stats having a problem with not updating and that ea was investigating or what have you. So, after I got done playing some bf2 on thursday, I noticed my stats had updated so I know that the stats are once again working. Now, for the 5 or so hours that I played sf yesterday afternoon, I recieved many badges, awards and a few hundred points. Now the problem that I am having is that the stats that I earned in sf did not update on my bf2 account. I can scan through all the extra weapons to unlock and see that obviously sf is being recognized on my account but when it comes to the stats, it is not registering. Do the sf stats not go toward your bf account?
After noticing that the stats from only playing bf2, not sf, updated even over night, I have decided to post for information. Once again, I have searched through many of the prior posts by using the search feature and either my eyes are deceiving or my blurred vision from reading so damn much just wont let my mind register anymore threads/posts.
