Unlocking SF weapons?

I've been wanting the L96A1 for a while now. I'm about to buy the expansion pack for battlefield 2 (Special Forces), but first I have a few questions to ask.

Do I need to unlock the whole first tier set of the unlocks in BF2? All 7 weapons?
Or just the first unlock, like if I didnt unlock the G3 yet, I can't unlock the F2000

How does this work, you install the expansion pack, you play a game, you log out and back in, and will you be prompt to unlock a few weapons?

for example if u want the F200 u need the G3,

play 1 round of SF, then go to BFHQ it should give some unlocks.

Yeah you get 2 unlocks just for playing sf, so you'll get your L96A1 whether you have the M95 or not

^ NO!!!

You don't just get two unlocks for playing SF!!! You get two unlocks each time you gain a rank (one from BF one from SF) and to be able to access the SF unlocks you must first unlock the normal BF unlock. I'm sure there's a sticky or millions of other threads on this...

Yeah you get 2 unlocks just for playing sf, so you'll get your L96A1 whether you have the M95 or not

each time you get an unlock in normal BF2, if you have SF you would get 2. if you get SF after you have all 7 first tier unlocks, you receive 7 unlocks in one go, as a back log to match the first mentioned "scheme"
and yes, you have to have the first unlock of a kit to get the next one

True, You guys its true.
Cause like. I chose Battlefield 2 G3 and fs2000
It gave me a menu of, Fs2000, M95, a bunch of Special force unlocks.
1 BF2 and 1 SF unlock.

haha i told my loser friend sf was a secret club that ea made for the teh pwnzerest of all the players and thats how you get those lol hes such a n00b
