Any way to turn off the commander?

I'm sure this has been discussed but I found a server I like but the guy that always commands is getting on my last nerve with the 'enemy spotted'. Any way to turn just him off?

Thats really annoying but it also helps the team.

It's especially hard not to spam "enemy spotted" when ur uav is down.
But it is good for the team. Just as long as the commander isnt going to far.
By going to far i mean like this

or they could drop supplies on the UAV, getting rid of spec ops guy there first. 90% of commanders have no idea supplies fix your assets.

amen, i try to spot out like small groups of enemy &point them out, anybody with some sense knows the enemy will be near their flag when they only got one or 2 left, or i will usually if theres lotsa enemy just put the uav overtop them & like u said drop supplies if its been destroyed.

A good comander like me should only spot those few that are relevant at the time!

i spot flankers(snipers) or a few every 2 min,but also leave it up to soldiers to find them for themselves.

in my view arty and uav wreck the game with those hacks

idiot Ea put them in for the kiddies

i have asked commanders for supply drops on UAV before and got WTF tard why would i drop supplies there noob etc lol. well you aren't dropping then anywhere else now are you?
i dunno how many times i have pretty much done the commanders job for him too, IE he does nothing so i ask for UAV arty supplies anywhere they are needed or he does nothing.

It helps alot when the server has VOIP enabled. Then you can tell squads where the people are. I usually only use the spot tactic after I tell a squad there position and pinpoint it with a spot. Other than that it get's really annoying to try and listen to the sounds around you while the commander is continually spotting the same person over and over again.

I usually do the same. Commanding is something I do when no one else will. It's just more fun with VOIP. Yes when I do command I don't fight and focus on the command screen.

what if UAV is still reloading? You cant put a UAV over the whole map so it is kinda neccesary to point some people out if they are getting through your lines.

i like it when the commander spots infantry. never said i didn't, what bugs me is the spam within the UAV radius. spotting lone troops going to flags, squads moving, snipers on the hill awsome, but please i can see the UAV so dont spot every last person inside it. or the same guy 50 times.
