I am trying to view and preferably export the textures from BF2. Is this possible?

Re: Texture Viewing and Exporting
Download the DDS2 plugin from nvidia.com (just google it) for photoshop.
*Here, i found it for you :)
All of the textures are located in the objects_client.zip
When you save, make sure you save it as a DDS5 or DDS3 (I can't remember :/)

Re: Texture Viewing and Exporting
Thanks a lot for the reply. That was simple :)
Now I need to view the meshes. Any idea where I can get a simple tool to view or convert the meshes? I don't need a lot of functionality, just want to play with the mesh in max.
Thanks

Re: Texture Viewing and Exporting
He said he wants to play with them in Max. Get the Max scripts from here: http://www.doomlab.com/bf2info.html You'll be able to pull in a mesh from BF2 into 3dsmax from the Necessary Tools in the new BF2 menu that will show up.

Re: Texture Viewing and Exporting
Thanks for all your replies. I still can't get the scripts and plugs to work. I install them and nothing happens when I try and run some of the scripts. I got the menu to come up but don't see where or how I import a mesh

Re: Texture Viewing and Exporting
Slowview is another good program to use for converting DDS files.
