Need help connecting to server please...

Hello all,

i just purchased bf2 but everytime i go to login it just hands on "connecting to server" and nothing happens...it connected one time but then listed no servers.

Anyone give me a hand or know whats up?

Btw, if it matters im on vista x64. Thanks.

Do you have a firewall running? If so, disable it or allow access to BF2. Also be sure that you have the latest patch (version 1.41).

Ok, i disabled my firewall and still no go....were can i find the patch? Thanks.

Sorry for double post, i got it to log into my account by selecting play battlefield 2 instead of play online now!. BUT it lists all the servers in red and wont connect it tells me to check my connection.

Btw: that update is downloading now, will that fix the problem?
