well after 2 years of playing finally hanging up the dog tags. BF2 was fun but now with ET:QW beta i don't have time for BF2. Hopefully i see some of ya's in QW. I haven't had 1 game on my hard drive last as long as BF2...lol good times.

For the guys at A2G warlord server gg's i had a blast and it was one of the better warlord servers out there.

quakewars fell far short of all the hype for me, it truly felt like an even older engine than bf2 to me and the way the vehicles drive in 10 degree increments was giving me flashbacks of typhoon rising.

to each their own, it encompasses a different style of player but dont uninstall that bf2 yet, some great mods are right around the corner like forgotten hope 2.

They're fixing the vehicles.

Personally, I still play around 10 games at once, not including mods, there's no "leaving" a game for me. Doing that, is pretty much 1-dimensional.

You expected Battlefield: Quake. If you have a hard time with the vehicles (which I dont, but whatever), perhaps you should learn how to, I dunno, play infantry?

You love jets and helicopters. Quake Wars has no jets and the helicopters don't own as much as you wish.

Either that or ETQW is just too fast for you, but I point to ET and QW.

I am sure he is both.

And yeah, I assumed QW was going to be similar to BF. However, now that I have played the beta, I am liking the direction it is going in.

Not sure what you're smoking, but aside from flying out of the sky from the impact of a gnat's wing, the Tormentor absolutely rapes the **** out of everything on the ground. More so when you actually get a gunner.

A sniper can take one down in 9 shots I believe. 2 rockets heavily injure it, and a tank shell will bring it down.

Tormentors are not Cobra/Mi-28 replacements
