    Crazy Apache Pilot

How the hell did this Pilot in the USMC Cobra do so many spins without losing altitude, it was a regular ranked server unmodded, no1 really mentioned anything about it and him doing it.. i've only had 50 hour heli flying time and 450h game time, however I do get credited for good flying and gunning... even by generals, and I ain't a total noob, I seem to be able to solo own high ranks, im only on 45,000 points

I have watched vids of the crazy stunts etc by pilots, yeh thats pretty neat and all but NOTHING compared to this guy, he was doing about 3 spins per second WITHOUT LOSING ALTITUDE, and he would do it on the carrier too while resupplying WTF, he was a captain and called CHOPPA Something (kinda vietish name) :|

But when i saw this guy i felt like a complete noob, I fly with keyboard and mouse (can't get on with this EVO Force w/e joystick i bought), (oh and Irrelevent information, PS2 controller is better for flying jets than the joystick too) it owns..

neways, Heli... I use sensitivity 10 and yaw/pitch 10, all maxed, 2000dpi mouse (g5) has buttons for switching between 400/800/2000dpi or somet, I use it regulary, such as gunning 800, piloting 2000 for doing side loops (dunno name), to dodge TVM...

Well anyways, lf anwers to as to how he did this, or can anyone else here do it too? And i'm talking CRAZY spins, not agile spins but CRAZY... maybe a edited .conf at 50 sensitivity, dunno.

Flame away if i posted in an incorrect place or w/e on forum

1st post ever lols, been a guest for a month

Just found the guy i'm talking about, hes in a server right now, same as what I first saw him in called:

Bumping up your sensitivity wont let you exeed jets/chopters ability to turn. It will just make it really hard to do small turns and ruin your accuracy. Since you didnt tell us exactly what he was doing, i'll assume that he was doing alot of barrel rolls. You just loose altitude during like 3-4 barrel rolls, after that the chopter will spin so fast that you wont loose altitude. Just get in a chopter, get some altitude and just continue to move your mouse to left/right.

A circle of death? Pretty easy.

        Unless you mean barrel rolls?

The only way to do that is time the throttle very well and centre your mouse/joystick dead on the roll axis - the crosshair shouldn't move from its place, if you get what I mean. Usually, the "crosshair" traces out a large circle or oval when you loop, to get a faster loop just make this as small as possible.

You can usually tell who flies a lot by the driver points. Comparing with my account, he's got about the same, and I flew for most of my time on it, so he definitely likes to pilot a lot... perhaps soloing as well.

I'm voting circle of death too.

I think he's talking about flip / barrel rolls, since those normally do cause a loss of altitude to execute.

You don't lose altitude at all performing the circle of death.

no hes not talking about the circle of death.. i think he means just crazy rolls. Isn't it easy to do? just hold one direction for a long time and you do crazy spins and lose little altitude thanks to EA's physics.

                          Re: Crazy Apache Pilot

                          I just flew with him.
Its a fast spin around the axle with nose in the air.

Kinda like the spinning with nose on the deck but then upside down.

Shouldnt be that hard but u crash alot of times.
And thats excactly with this guy does, crashing alot, lolll

Ohhh, and dont go gun for him cuz he has no clue what "lining up for a gunner" means.

I could've told you that by his ratio. If you still can't achieve 2:1 or better as a pilot after 350 hours and 18500 kills, you're not doing a good job of flying properly. It follows that he would have difficulty lining up his teammates with opportunities...

ok, im no expert in piloting, so therefore i was wondering if someone could post a link for this circle of death plz. i can do barrel rolls in both of the helo's but haven't the faintest as to what this is.
