crashes while opening......please help

when i click the bf2 icon on my desktop ait opens the bf2 window then the screen goes black and it closes. i have tryed reinstalling and have installed the patch......hwat should i do??

Post your system specs....

Running Vista?

Possible fixes:

-Update drivers.. ( audio, video, directx, etc... )

- Delete your battlefield2 map. ( located in My Documents )
