Yeah, not every commander deserves his 2x points.
Once I was commander (IO Karkand, of course, lol) and there was a SL (none else in his squad) just sitting around but VERY close to the Market Place flag, on the top of the building south of the flag. He could easily cap the flag, but he didn't. I dropped him UAV, scanned, told him by voip to move and get the flag as we were loosing and nobody is around that flag.
Well, he didn't cap the flag.
These are players that DO NOT deserve any commander help. If you're defending a flag as a sniper which is a pretty good idea, you should get your supplies.
Best tip ever: join a squad or create one so you can get information from the commander by voip. It's very important not just to give UAV but to scan and tell the squads things like: "2 enemies at suburb" or "Htel is clear - go cap it".
