'Input not supported'

Hi.

I just got this game today and every time I boot up the game a little box floats around the screen saying, 'Input Not Supported'. But what's annoying is that I can hear the game starting up in the background, (Intro Music) etc.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

[ BTW, I have an HP w19b (19 inch) Monitor ]

well i dont think it has to do with your moniter, but if it was the problem are you sure it is plugged in propperly?

But yes, it's plugged in properly.

No, just a box that floats around saying input not supported ..

if your screen goes black and the box floats around it means your monitor cannot display that resolution, when BF2 starts. have you changed the res in bf2 settings? check out support section for help it will show you how to edit your shortcut to display native 800/600 which your monitor should definately support.

That's what I did, changed the video setting to a different resolution.

How do you set it back to 800/600?

What make and model is your video card.
It may not be supported by the game.
