What do you mean?

Officially, no, you only get points (and the subsequent promotions, unlocks, medals, badges, etc.) by playing online on a ranked server.

If you mean is there some mod that gives you unlocks in single player, then yeah, I think there is one, but I have no clue where to find it. Someone else will, though, I'm sure.

yes there is a way to make single player RANKED

you can also make the server run 40 bots,download a load of custom maps.

but i warn you setting up a rank server is not easy if you have amateur skills.

you will need a extra pc (a good one amd athlon 2600 and 1.5gb ram min)

you will also have to load code in to server database (mysql)

i cant explain it of the top of my head way to much info.

but i can say if done correctly the bots get ranked as well,plus u get unlocks ect.

go hear for some info and get the stuff you will need.

p.s do not try and run from you're pc (if its a quad then maybe)

you must have a separate pc to run the game server and the database.

There should be mods for this, I know Project Reality had one for its single player, it's possible.

The only thing good about SP is for the new people to practice and thats about it.
That ranked SP server with bots just sounds like too much work.

it runs from a dedicated server (the free one you can download)

yes its hard to set up for a noob but with practice it can become very easy.

i suggest you try it before you knock it.

ive played it over lan at a freinds house and i can say it works very well.

with all the extra maps you can play in various sizes,it worth a go imo
