No Stats Whatsoever!

G'day,

i'm not real good with computers, i just followed the auto install, made an account, hit the 'multiplayer' and join whatever server and play.

my problem is that no matter how much i play, and sometimes i win basic training medals, in 'BFHQ' my player has no stats whatsoever, ever and i have no medals. it tells me i've played for a total time of 00:00:00 which is blatently not the case.

does any one know how i can make my stats count so i can get promoted, win medals, and keep an account of my stats?

If you used the SEARCH BUTTON you notiched that there are about 20 other threads with this same issue..

The stats server is down dude.., everyone is having trouble their stats updated.. Just wait it out..

firstly,

i scrolled through and couldn't find one with the same info, my bad.... still can't

secondly,

i've had the game about 6 months. i'm not saying my stats won't upgrade i read those threads. i'm saying that i have never had any stats - for 6 months - i've had no rank. everytime i play i win the same elementary medals and it won't save, and that it says i've never played the game. - not that my stats won't upgrade quick enough, i'm never getting any.

lmao happend to me at first when I brought BF2, Captain_Aus atm the state server is down and no one will gain any state's till it's fixed, and the secound thing is you might wont to down load all the patch's for the game because it sounds like you havent done that..

I played BF" for and month and wonderd why my state's werent going up either, but figured it out in the end..

also i downloaded patch 1.4 off of the EA website cos a mate said that would save my stats, it made my game ****, there were only 2 or 3 servers with anyone on them and always the same ****ty maps.

any suggestions. i just want my goddam stats to work and save so i can track my progress!

no probs Captain_Aus have you installed the Previous patch's? if not then down load them and install them and also there's another patch after 1.4 "bf2_patch_1.41.exe" down load it and you should see alot more dam server's on your screen lol :P.

I read on a forum that EA have fixed the state server but a few people arent still geting any state's.. so proble by the time you down load 1.41 you'll start gaining some points.

you need 1.41 and thats it... its a full 500+megs in download

ok so i'll hit up v1.41. does that include all the earlier patch versions' upgrades or something?

and i still reckon i downloaded it before and it stuffed my game up but... another day another thread!

also i didn't understand that quote about renting in ranked servers!

i just want some medals, a rank and some stats is that too much too ask! whatever happened to installing a game and away we go.....

You have to download the full patch 1.41 not the incremental in the full patch is everything you need and its about 536 mb http://www.gamershell.com/download_16477.shtml

yeah i downloaded the full patch, my game is running really well, and is fun to play, but....

no stats, not none, never. i check when i log on to play, and when i leave the game, everything reads 0. and i have no rank or rank progress. even win, for instance, i win the Spec Ops casic training medal or whatever it's called and get the little drum roll, i quit the game, no stats no medals.

Some servers work and some don't.
Although now im convinced that the majority of them do actually work.
