People were saying that quake wars is gonna pwn bf2/2142

well, i just played the beta, and QW really really sucked-my opinion, dont flame me for saying that

So i guess not many people are gonna leave the BF series to go play QW, but they prob will leave cause the stat problems...

so yah, now we dont have to worry about QW killing bf2

also, if u read the totalQW forums, there all scared, some say that the game sucked

QW was way overhyped I never thouhgt it would be able to compete with Bf2.

I have seen some screen shots from call of duty 4:modern combat. It looks like the next version of BF2? Who knows, I would guess that it will be out in time for Christmas. I plan on playing BF2 even if something a little better comes along, Im addicted. I guess I just wanna blow something up. Sigh. Anyway the screen shots look really great but I couldnt find them on line so no link. Hope the put some up soon. . . . . . . .Red

Unless you can fly choppers and planes, I think not. Thats is one thing that BF2 has over EVERY game out there.

quake wars was horrible...and not because it was in beta form...They just didnt seem to know how vehicles work...and the game ran horrible as well, long loading times, bad graphics...etc...Its sad to think that a company that pretty much invented the fps would have made a great game in todays day and age...

Yeah my uncle told me that I need to get QW cuz it's gonna blow BF2 away. I doubted him and still do but like mentioned above it's still a beta version (and he does know more than me).

QW blows BF2 away, but the beta is ****. Don't come expecting BF2 gameplay, it's not there.

Bunnyhopping run and gun arcade shooting = YAY!

Personally, I'm looking forward to Crysis ...so far, it's the only game I have heard of that could lure me away from BF2 (unless this stats thing lasts much longer) - I still love playing the game, just miss the results of my efforts. If Crysis were out today, BF2 would be history tomorrow.

You cant even compare the same games. They both have guns and vehicles, thats about as far as you can go. They play DRASTICALLY different. The engines, graphics, and every other core elements are not similar whatsoever.

Though I will say I prefer Quake Wars. More focused.
