I have to admit it would be pretty sweet to have lots abandoned trucks on the side of the road to hijack or hide behind or a zip line from a black hawk, but i bet they would create crazy lag for people with low end computers. Too bad though, it would be damn sweet.
BTW, that is one boring and ugly map in the first picture, i'm glad they scrapped that one, plus the zip line looks a bit too fake.

That first pic was from BF1942....Desert-Combat....

When BF2 was being planned the devs experimented with many things on the BF42 engine....

Then go play it. That 'alpha build' you see in the first pic is basically just an experiment on the Desert Combat mod for BF1942.

na, was the DC that DiCE got the DC team to mod in a POC for BF2. That shot above just proves that BF1942 in lots of ways was more modable than BF2 :p
