When i log in and the game loads....

After i have entered my username and password then select enter or the button to continue, the game doesnt goto the main menu automaticly!

Instead it joins a server?! how do i stop this, its been happening since i brought the game back in 2005, i keep having to press Escape to exit to goto the main menu before i join any online games

sounds like u are using the play now exe, that gets installed with BF2 on ur desktop. go into bf2 folder and make new shortcut, C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2.
