tampa map beta?

i tried searching forum, but obviously just discussion about the tampa map came up not what i was wanting to know;

it says new beta map available, the tampa one on their advertising pop up when u load bf2, BETA? - thats the whole reason i have purposely not downloaded it, i have been waiting for the final version to be announced, as i didnt want to have an experimental, not finished map in my install.

i am now thinking i have totally the wrong end of the stick, and its a new map, a new full map, as is.

.....or is it a beta map like it says, that after feedback, it will be updated and finalized, if so i will wait.

i really doubt that they wil do anything bro ...
they are hardly doing anything with that damn stats issue
