[STATS] Theory

Ok, this is just a theory.

A while back we received a message from a DICE employee saying, in the future, there would be good things happening and bad things happening to Battlefield 2.

Check this out, they give us a new map (at least it was new in the form of being newly released).

Not much later the stats *randomly* go out at the start of the summer.

Discuss.

back on topic ,it is a strange coincidence,the last time bf2stats tracker updated my stats was the 13/6/2007 same kind of time the new map came out i think.

I think the new map probably screwed up the stats server.... thats whats happening

you didnt give us your theory, you just told us the facts that 1.) a map was released and 2.) the stats are f.u.b.a.r.
you never gave us a "theory" as to why
a "theory" would be something like......

"I think the new map had some little stats bug and when they released the map the bug grew up and became an adult bug that overtook all the stats servers"

or

"I think the stats servers were hacked by the same people that hacked their way to the top in the rankings by altering .con files to give themselves 100,000,000 points per kill"

or

"I think the stats are messed up because Gamespy didnt pay thier monthly internet bill"

As far as i know, all the points that have been earned since the stats went down have been queued and will be applied as soon as they are back up. Except maybe the points you earned the night it went down, last friday. Lets all at least hope on that.

In the mean time, lets help the cause...i'm going to put a flaming bag of crap on EA's doorstep tonight... think of some other ways to contribute.

you know whats funny?? i use statviewer to check regu;ary to see if stats are back up.. i dont get any extra points .. im stuck on 20999 but my global ranking is getting better and better lol how can .. that must be good and bad !!
