if 2 people that are the same rank apply for commander at the same time who will win the person with the higher global score or commander score? or is it just whoever hits the button first?

Every time this combination occurs, a new bug is released into the Battlefield realm. So just imagine how many equal rankers have clicked "apply" at the same time. :shock:

This would have happened on day one of the release. Since most everyone was a privet.

To the OP. I would think the first to hit the button. The time it takes to get a response it is seeing if anyone of higher rank applies. If not then equal ranks would be denied because you applied first. Just a guess.

actually it is supposed to be designed that the person with the higher global score will get the commander slot

I think the rule "depends on rank" is just PR speak showcasing rank hierarchy and simply "whoever has the highest global score".
