Patch 1.4 or BF2 Game Problem

Hello I am having a problem with my BF2 game or my 1.41 patch. Recently I have been having problems with online play. When I join a server within 15 seconds it boots me for "Lost Connection To The Server" I have checked all my internet settings and re-booted my router. Once i unistalled the game and re-installed the game and 1.41 patch, it seemed to be working fine I was not being booted. Once I shut my computer down and came back into the game it started the boot problem again. Also where its suppose to say 1.41 blah blah blah it says 1.12 or something of that effect. When I update i see about 600-1000 servers with same version only box checked. Even though it says 1.41 isnt installed and active with the game, I get into servers that my clan gets into running on 1.41 patch. Atleast I got in once I reinstalled my game. Any ideas to fix this problem? Should I download a new patch even though this 1 has worked fine up until the past week?

my only guess would be firewall, either windows or router. you could try turning them off and see if it works, but i really dont know.
