I keep getting the same message with all the patches. It says it can't find the BattleField 2 folder. Is there any way around this or a way to extract the files myself? I have downloaded different patches from different sites and they all say the same thing.

you might had dled an incremental patch... make sure you are dling the ful 1.41 patch. its about 500 or 600 mb i believe. -

there is no incremental patch for 1.41,
Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_Local_Machine > Software > Electronic Arts > EA Games > Battlefield 2 > Double Click " InstallDir " change the drive letter if the path is default.
in the window on the right,, right click > add > string value,, name it " InstallDir " , then double click it and in the Value box put " C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 " change C to your drive letter,Comment
