Happens to be my fave map as well. I know it fine as I love to run between flags at the rocket sight and one close by and earn fat points. In fact, I'm off to go surge it up right now! lol

One of the =SF= servers run Mass Destruction, Ghost Town, and Surge all the time. That's awseome because Spetsnaz maps are the best.

Yes, I love this server. It's been pretty full though after 9pm EST, and has a good mix of players. Mass D. and Surge rock because the Spetz and Rebels own with AKs, RPGs and RPKs.

i think surge is a great map, it just seems that theres never many servers running it. ill have to check out the ones listed here.

i love crawling through the vents @ command station in surge & you get lifts and its one of the most underrated maps, imo!

i just dont know what kit to play on it, thats my only trouble

like i'll go medic just to get destroyed by armour
i'll then go AT just to get butt rushed by a load of medics / support

though i've done alright with spec-ops, as theres some nifty places to hide C4 near flags etc

Surge!?? Wow! That is the best map to use Assault on! On something like Iron Gator, I would say Support, and on Night Flight, Medic. But with the elevation changes and open shooting areas, Assault is a very effective kit. If you have good accuracy with the GL, there are a lot of walls and rocks to hit the side of to kill an enemy if you miss them (or quick switch to the AK to finish them off). The Grapple hook saves your *** when you have to raid the command bunker and instead of going up the stairs which are often claymored, you just go the east side where the trees/rocks cover your attack.

Though I am a big proponent of the Assault kit in over all game play, I think Surge is where it really shines. Esp with all the racing FAVs and APC/T-90s crawling around, you can flash bang the hell out of them while your squad slips out of their firing view.

Give it a shot and see if it fills your void. :guns:

Mass is another good one for Assault took.

i'd say that gator is better suited for medics esp if you can get a 47

assault i think goes better on ghost town, but i agree with mass

but i find quite a nice balance with AT / spec / medic on surge and of recent its been working for me, that or i'll chopper whore! lol

Did =SF= drop their 24/7 Surge/Mass server and replace it with another 24/7 Warlord? I know it started to not populate, just wondering if they did change something.
