SF Unlock PROBLEM - Not same question as everyone else! Im actually havin a problem

I've been playing the original BF2 for a while now, and I am a Staff Sargeant - I have unlocked all but 2 tier 1 weapons, and this morning I have received my Special Forces expansion. From what I understood I had to play a round or two of SF before I could unlock the SF weapons. Well, I've played around 6 rounds in 2 different ranked servers, but I have yet to have received any unlocks. Do I have to wait until I get promoted again (will take a while), do I just wait until tomorrow, and hope that the system will register my SF by then? What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Or just look a few threads up or down, there may be something about the STATS SYSTEM BEING DOWN AT PRESENT.

Well I did search before I posted this, and everyone was asking how to unlocks special forces weapons... and the answers for them were either get SF or play a few rounds of SF before they can unlocks the weapons.

I already have SF and I've already played 5 rounds in 2 different ranked servers... But I still wasn't able to get the weapons unlocked.

You still got it wrong dude...

Currently, EA's stats servers for BF2 are down and players will not be able to have their earned points updated, so about the points you've earned in the SF rounds... *poof. :laugh:

that is true. your stats aren't registering due to the EA problem. -however-, there are some posts here and over at bf2s about servers that are reporting stats. maybe try finding one and playing a round there.

Just to confirm... After a promotion you can choose either the tier 1 weapons or the tier 2 weapons to unlock right?

Come to our SF server and play - our server updates your points normally and you will get your unlocks. And yes, you can choose 1 tier and 2 tier unlocks.

Just to confirm... After a promotion you can choose either the tier 1 weapons or the tier 2 weapons to unlock right?

you first have to unlock "tier" 1 and then "tier" 2.
