Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
True, but its easier to get disoriented if the mini map is spinning around you, and the directions are constantly changing. On a static map, North is up, South is down, ect.
rotating... WHY?
-if you quickly want to see whats in front of you, you dont need to look around the minimip to see whats to the left, right or center of you. You know automatically that whatever is on the left is on your left, right is on right etc...
i can see why some use static, but i think people with roatating have an advantage.
But i would go with Rotating if i could get some fuzzy dice up there in the corner to bounce around when it moves. :)
"We're all very different people. We're not Watusi. We're not Spartans. We're Americans, with a capital 'A', huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold! But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt." -John Winger (Bill Murray) Stripes
On the other setting you can still tell where north is,on the out side of the mini map is a round ring and on there is north south east west
Then that requires you to pay more attention to your mini map while some sob snipes you out.
Static because its less hastle. A moving mini map frustrates me and just end up getting lost and having to concentrate more on the map than my gameplay.
Im using rotating one. Ever since I set it to that setting 2 years ago I never went back. Reason is simple- youre always in the center of the minimap. Its extremely good to orientate around while youre flying a jet and it doesnt get confusing when you turn a lot, also- its a lot more natural to keep track of.
QFT, I tried the static a few days ago and I really couldn't make out anything. I was completely confused.
