I don't realy know what you're taling about, our clan has one server, and no1 is ever on besides us, then when people get on and there's around 20 people and we leave then evrrybody else leaves, WTF is up with that??

admin leaves, servers turn hell, people disobeying the rules and eventually killing the server.

this problem with the stats system is a pain in the *** when you change the map rotation you cant get a good enough idea of what maps are popular and wat arent when only half the server is full

His is public, he is saying that the members need to join so others will, but when they leave so does everyone else. And who is paying for empty servers, you! Of course you could let your server go down for the time stats are gone, but one week of lower populatiry shouldn't kill you. And I think some of the posts by EA are not bot generated, but even if they are EA still does know about the problem. The also know that this game needs stats to succeed, so they will work on fixing the problem.

Theese servers as you are aware have to be paid for , i think currently my clan has 6 ranked servers running (BF2 and 2142)at around £50 a piece ( i may be wrong on the math ) . That £300 a month or aprrox $580 .

If these servers become empty and just your own clan players play on them whos gonna compensate us ?

Me i love my stats , yes they are crapp and if ever reset i would be gald to start over again .

Ill say this EA , ETQW IS JUST ROUND THE CORNER AND YOU GUYS PULL THIS **** NOW .

I HAVE YET TO EVEN SEE A POST ACKNOWLEDGING THIS FROM EA YET .

so basically what you are asking of EA is to refund the costs of running a server for a total of like 5 days? wtf are you on? people are still playing the game, its not like the whole server providers are down, just the stats system

So because some people are having problems with stats updating, you feel as though EA should refund your money for running private servers?

I'd laugh if I wasn't so sickly right now. My head hurts when I cough, a fit of laughter like this could be the end of me.

But seriously dude, what about games that people host servers for that don't have stats? They're paying to run servers to be able to control what happens ingame, and for the love of the game.

What's the matter? Can't find any other servers they'll let you stat-pad in?

Im talking about public servers that I pay for , do you pay for playing this game ?

Same to you as well , do you contribute towards the cost of any public server ?

Im am sure if you were paying for something that did not work properly you would follow up accordingly .

Clan based public servers are funded most of the time by the clan members , I have been playing tonight quite happily on these servers ( yes getting owned , i never confessed to beong the greatest BF2 player in the world) . What I am saying is a few days fine most people me included will put up with this .

Five days now and no real news sucks .

Every server has to deal with that no matter what... Your clan could always reduce the number of servers they run.

There are things called donations as well. Pub players who give money to clans because they play on that clan's server. To send a donation, however, you need money, and usually PayPal. Most of the kids playing BF2 don't have money, or cannot use PayPal.

You also have to remember that there are tons of BF2 players who have things to do besides play BF2. Weekdays are always going to be low in volume compared to the weekend (unless it's a holiday).

I don't see how EA has anything to do with this at all.

Contrary from yours, our ranked clan server has not experienced any massive or significant drops in the number of players. To say that the delay of stats updates is responsible for widespread drop in the number of players per server is a big claim that needs further data and proof - Observation from one server isn't enough.

Even if the delays were responsible, EA shouldn't compensate you at all - They are not obligated to guarantee or assure you that your servers will have specific average number of players. You paid for EA's services, not for stream of players.

As for the reason that you're not getting such service for the past 4-5 days, they said all the achievements, points earned, and promotions will most likely be saved.

Read the statements . They are bot generated im sure of it .
