I have asked repeatedly if anyone can hear me and nobody answers. I have looked at the right of my screen and don't see a mic icon. I have a Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 and need to know how this works. Thanks.

Re: Help With New Headset/Mic
USB huh? Maybe thats the problem.. My own findings here: Using usb with soundcard, Not working. (only in BF) Its putting my soundsettings back to default..
However, there are a few things to check though..
1. Does your mic works in windows? Check with skype or something..
If not, check the settings on your soundcard driver. (mixer)
2.Still not working, check if the right ports are open. (when using firewall)
3. Last thing, check that damned little MUTE switch on your headset..
(spend 3 hours on that issue :wall: )

Re: Help With New Headset/Mic
It works. I have talked to people, but right when a new match starts, it mutes and then I can't talk.

Re: Help With New Headset/Mic
Okay... I played one round of BF2 and I could talk. Then when it switched maps, my PC would mute the microphone. I would then un-mute the microphone, but couldn't talk. Now why is that?
