How do I configure my Game Controller for BF2?

I got everything set, but I can look around. There's no option on the option list. I can move forward, back, left and right but I just can't move my view around. I just want to switch the analog stick with the mouse so that I can move my gun around.

Let me know if this can be done or not because I'm planning to return the controller.

Gamepad for infantry is a bad idea.

Gamepads are bad for FPS, period. Mouse and keyboard is much more accurate.
