We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.

There are a lot of videos up on youtube from the beta which show the gameplay. It's much faster than I expected. Or you can just get a public key in 9 minutes.
I hope by stat tracking they mean the same old per-round thing. No global ****, but who knows, this may turn out better than BF2 ranking ****, which it prolly won`t.
if you like fast paced bunnyhopping juking, strafing. jumping. circle strafe wars. headshots(they dont do much asof now) and just run and gun
quake wars will rock for you
if you like more realistic tactical expierience where every shot counts. where tactics is the core and that run and gun= humiliating death and where cqb(close quARTERS battle) is more of a mind game then a cirlce strafing match.
THEN QUAKE WARS IS NOT FOR YOU.
so yeah choose wisely(but try it if you think youl like it)
I agree it's great. I played it for a few hours today and had a blast. It has some flaws, like the GDF rifle firing awkwardly. But overall it's a great and unique experience.
Think UT2K4, but better. In my first round I spawned as a GDF Field Ops and set up a howitzer, then used it to nuke the hell out of some enemy anti-vehicle turret.
The demo is definately worth a try when it comes out to see if the gameplay agrees with you.
