Ok,
I had an idea to do a week by week chapter of the Battlefield story. Like how all the maps fit together, and following the USMC team as it enters each new territory. I thought it could be a battle compilation from each map, but edited to make it look more "realistic".

This is just a sample video I started, and it's just a draft at the moment.

Right now all the footage was taken in single player due to all my actors never being online (thus the cancellation of my old movie)

This will NOT be a scripted movie, as I can not order bots around :)

Anyways,
Would you guys like to see a map-by-map story of the USMC battles and such. Almost like putting the Battlefield story together.

do you mean

1) a campaign to be fought in singleplayer

or

2) a set of movies that form a campaign acted out by people?

As long as I don't have to rely on bots as teammates... unless I had control over them somehow.

Instead of a movie, make a single player campaign. Somehow I think that's impossible in this game, but worth a shot. It's the equivalent of using a pocket calculator to run ASM code.

i think that the BF2 engine wont do anything like that, though no doubt i'll be proven wrong

I think a single-player campaign would be an awesome addition. There are LOADS of games that reenact WW2, Civil War, Vietnam, but you never see them for more modern wars, such as Gulf War, Kosovo conflict, Afganastan...

I think these are equally interesting. To know the battles, and to see how modern technology has changed warfare would be something worth taking time offline to play.
