I hate to sound easily fooled, but it sounds very plausible to me that is is accurate. Considering the game is just about 2 years old, and they started development work on it 5 years ago, so technically to DiCE it is a 5 year old title.

Boshing the stats system would be THE BEST thing that ever happened to the game. People may actually play as a team and play it as a game.... and not as a point farming load of cr@p.

Fingers crossed this is correct, I'd laugh my t1ts off at all the lamers who pad and play only to rack up points. It means f all.

This may be correct due to the recent leakage of the ranked server files allowing admins to host ranked locked servers that offer 1000's of points per round.

or majority of the players will quit after their stats are lost. u mite say that ppl shoudlnt be worrying over some jpegs/pixels of awards. most awards in real life are just a piece of paper, or a hunk of metal. the point is that stats and earning those awards and ranks are fun.

plus if they keep the rankings to just individual servers, then ppl who do care abuot stats will play only on one server and new servers will have a hard time starting up.
