Patch installation

Hey, I'm not really sure where this should go, but this seemed like the right place; so here goes: first off, I'm downloading the patch v1.3 for BF2- do I need to download v1.2 to run it? Last, where do I download the patches to? It's been a while since I have messed around with patches (I haven't played comp games for a while).

you only need to download Patch 1.41 it includes all previous patches,

hi, i know this is completly irelavent but i dont know how to start a forum or whatever, i installed the v1.4 patch for bf2 and now for some reason it wont work. i dont know what happened but the patch installation failed and i had to restart my computer. can any1 help?? i dont have a cd to reinstall it so thats out of the question and i cant completly finish the patch installation so what do i do???? its driving me nuts!

download the patch from a different source and see if it works then,

So where does patch 1.41 go? I know it goes somewhere in one of the folders within BF2, but I don't know where exactly.
