hi would this card play bf2 and bf2142 on high settings,by the way is it dx10.need a new card never played on high settings before.thx for the help.ps just have enough money for this card.

BF2 all high and 2142 but what are the rest of your specs? as for DX10 the 640mb is only meant for highass resolutions, but if you play 1280X1024 it will be fine

I have that card, among other things, and can play on all high. Get the BFG, its factory overclocked, and it rox...enjoy. Oh and btw ...BF2 runs on DX9, but the card is ready when things come out on DX10.

Buddy, with that rig Battlefield 2 will be running for its life. :laugh:

You'll have no problems running it and 2142 on maximum settings at top resolutions with AA and AF applied.

In fact, the 8800 GTS is the card I'll be getting soon. (Preferably the 640mb version, though the 320mb version is probably what I'll have to get due to the somewhat steep price difference.)
