Right, i installed bf2 then installed 1.41 then downloaded and installed the beta map.

when i go to play online all servers show up red and say im on wrong version.

why is this?

Don't know mate, try re-patching to 1.41 :)

Your sure its 1.41? Just reinstall everything, it solves most problems ;]

Yep, you're gonna have to

-uninstall bf2
-reinstall bf2
-patch bf2 to 1.41

There are some corrupted copies of the patch out there, make sure you got the patch from EA and not a third party site.

You should have posted in tech support.

It's the patch that was the issue.

i just went and got BF2 deluxe for £4 lmao i have two bf2's now XD
