Cannot join the server because of modified content.

Now i KNOW this isn't new for everyone here, but i downloaded a 64 player SP mod so that i could play Wake Island. Now i figured that if i downloaded it, i probably wouldn't be able to play in some servers because of the modified content....But now i want to get rid of the mod, and i can't find where to delete it. Does anyone have any ideas?

well i got a simple solution. Go to control panel double click Add nd Remove programs find the Mod file nd delete it OR go to Start menu All programs nd Find the Mod in the list go to the Mod fingy nd u will probably find a Uninstall option just delete it frm there hope it will help

re-install?

afaik that mod changes the original bf2 folder under "mods"

Im not doing that. It took me 8 hours to install the 4.1 patch.

What kind of POS computer do you have for it to take 8 hrs? You don't need to do the 1.01, 1.12, 1.2, etc patches. Just install BF2 then the 1.41 patch, then play.
