    Dual Monitors and BF2

So I just upgraded to Vista and before, with XP sp2 I had bf2 set up so when I played it was on the main monitor (full screen) and the other monitor showed my desktop still where I had TS and xfire so I coudl see who was talking and stuff.

Now, when I start bf2, with Vista the second monitor goes black while I play bf2 on the main one.

I had the monitor desktop settings set to individual setup. It's not set to stretch the desktop across both, meaning my taskbar is only on the main monitor and the other is basically just a desktop extension.

    Comp specs:
    Vista Ultimate 32bit
    3gb ram
    AMD dual core 3800+
    XFX Nvidia 7900 GT

As far as I know, and I've looked a lot, I have all of the updated drivers for the video card. I remember having this problem when I first went to dual monitors, when I had xp, but I figured it out. I can't remember now.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot

Can't help with the Nv control panel settings as I use this,

Not free but well worth it as it doesn't matter what card you use (ATI or Nvidia), don't lose any settings when changing drivers, allows for a separate taskbar on the second monitor, etc. Also supports 32 bit and 64 bit (native 64 bit at that) Vista.

Thanks Stormy, I'll dnld the trial and see if it works but since I know I did it before, granted with XP, I would perfer to to it again...for free. I might try to call nvidia and/or microsoft, couldn't hurt.

Anyone else know how I can do this?
