Hey there!
Well yesterday morn i installed the 1.41 patch so i could play the new Tampa map and i can say that the map r0x. Anyway i got in from work last night , clicked on my BF exe and the BF2 logo pops up then goes to the black screen, then straight back to desktop, wtf!?
So ive tried loading it up a dozen+ times and i get the same, BF logo>black screen>desktop. I decided a system restore to just after i had put the patch on and again i got the same symptons. I then thought i'd put BF:SF back on incase my disc was the cause, still the same oh and the same symptons im getting with BF2 are happening with SF.
So late last night i decided to reinstall BF2, put the 1.41 patch on from EA Link and again im getting the same ol' ish!?
This morn i uninstalled Bf again and put the 1.4 patch on and again im getting the same problem.
Any ideas? ive been playing BF since it came out and tbh ive never encountered this problem b4, maybe the odd occasion when ive been playing the game ive crashed to d/top but not at the innitial start up!
