    I have had no luck at all trying to run BF2 on my newly built rig. I get BSD crashes everytime. I can log in but loading a map is as far as I've gotten, usualy the crash is even before that.

    the only thing thats hitten me is the 8800GTX, cud be a driver problem, have you tried others?

        how about Memtest? try testing your ram, as that can be a good sign of a BSOD...

          Does this happen exclusively on BF2/2142? or with other games also?

            Day of Defeat Source and CSS run great, just the BF2 is crashing, I dont know, I also have an issue with the onboard sound, and I couldnt install drivers for my Soundblaster audigy 2ZS without crashes either.
