I'm a bit worried as I have recently been experiencing this "distortions" while playing BF2.When I exit game that does not go away -the only way to get rid of it, is to reboot PC

yeah post the temps up, did you overclock that card recently? if you did reset it t default!! try also deleting your cache...Comment

No, never overclocked anything. Card is not overheating as far as I know. I have switched drivers - maybe that will make differenceComment

and it turns out you were right and I was wrong.It has really gone from bad to worst. I have only reinstall my XP yesterday.If I remember right my warranty on the card and motherboard has already gone over 1 year
Not sure if that got anything to do but I have switched to new ISP (BE Unlimited)Comment

holy **** dude:shock: !! that is bad, have you tried drivers? did this happen before you reinstalled XP?and it turns out you were right and I was wrong.It has really gone from bad to worst. I have only reinstall my XP yesterday.If I remember right my warranty on the card and motherboard has already gone over 1 year

Check those temps! It's getting to be that time of year again, pretty much every forum I go to, at least once a day there's someone having temperature problems. If you haven't already, buy a can of air(or 2) and dust out your case and fans.Comment

Had some minor distortions before but they kind of went away.Yesterday I decided it is time to reinstall XP pro since I have been messing about with various settings to improve my broadband connection.Anyway everything went smooth, reinstalled BF2 etc and got first distortion only about 45 minutes online.Second one...well over 1 hour playing.I managed to catch temp on NVIDIA control panel - it as almost 95C well above usual 60C.I installed the latest drivers I could find for XP (94.24) but I don't think that's the drivers.I will to try to play online again and see.It could be my new router or maybe my card packed up after a year
I will have to open the case and see if that's the card or the whole MB is overheatingComment

80c is the max graphics cards should go to. Its true they can take more heat than CPU's, but not 95c. Either, resit the HSF, buy an aftermarket HSF or get a new GFX card!Comment

yeah my card is overclocked a lot and it still does not go over 55 when i play, its defiantley that 95 mark thats messing the game up...Comment
