Still an active community ?

Hey guys,

I havent played this game in at least more then a year (last patch i got was 1.3 or 1.03) and since I am getting a new computer I am interested in jumping back into this game. Yet I have a question. With all the new expansions and stuff are there still a lot of people just playing the original game ?

ALOT of people. Its the biggest Modern day warfare online game. Come Back. there are alot of users. And even more smacktards then before. I say yeah. The patches brought on some changes but its worth it.

Honestly I am lookign forward to it as long as it isnt extremely glitchy like it was in the past. I couldnt even play for more then 5 minutes without my comp freezing up so I just quit.

Have the patches fixed up a lot of the problems the game had ?

ive gone back to BF2 i played 2142 for 6 months now im happy im playing BF2 again.

This is good to hear, I too haven't played for over a year and I expected everyone to have stopped playing but it's great to see the game is still alive.

Just search for "gamearena" "internode" and "gamespace".

Those are the big oz servers. If you wanna cross the ditch at some point, just search for "xtra" or "iconz"

Totally! Same here! BF2 is still cool even when you've unlocked nearly everything, unlike 2142. :evil:

Played Battlefield 2142 for only a few hours and went back to BF2

yeah its usally good to take a break cuz it can get boring if u play like 30 consecutive rounds, so im just waiting until either PR .6 comes out or when the final release of that highway tampa map comes out
