in game lighting

I had my lighting set so I dont see shadows, I got very capable videos cards, but I just like it better lite up nice and bright.

Anyways, it has been displaying all the shadows and dynamic lighting and I haven changed any video settings for many many months. I checked my vid settings in game and sure enough they are all the same way they have been for months but I cant get it to NOT display them anymore. I deleted all the cache, and let it do the video optimizing shaders thing all over but it didnt help. Anyone have a suggestion, maybe my vid cards are going bad?

I doubt its your video card dying thats not a very common syptom of it happening. Re-do your graphics settings to what you want and hit apply. Its happened to me before my graphics settings had actually changed in game but in the options>video they were all still the same.

Try just clicking the apply button.

nah my old card use to do that lol, but i dont know a fix for it
