I have a radeon 9200 series and was wondering if it would work for battle feild 2.

Not that I could find, but then again I have ran the game on a unsupported card. It's possible but don't know if your willing to throw the money to the wind on a possibility.

I played BF2 using a 9200 for quite a while.

You might need the Catalyst update driver or whatever. Just check out the ATi website, under downloads.

It could only run on low, for the most part. Forget all about Lighting and AA with that card.

wat interface? is it? PCI, AGP, or PCI-EXPRESS. as far as i know, if its PCI, it wont work

Yes, AFAIK the AGP version works (although slowly) but PCI does not for some unknown reason. (The Mobility Radeon 9000 in my Latitude C840 also works, slowly.)

Probably won't work then; I haven't seen a single post from anyone with a PCI Radeon 9000/9200/9250 that works with BF2.

thanks for all ur guyz help i just went and brought bf2 and my video card works fine on the back it say radeon 8500 or higher.

Is your 9200 card PCI or AGP? Actually, I believe the 9000/9200/9250 are not listed as supported although the 8500 is (probably because of the PCI problem).
