patch 1.4.1

Having trouble patching bf2 to 1.4.1.

Patch is installing and saying it is finsished but when game is loaded it still says 1.1 something.

I was told that I should manually patch it but the guy that told me isnt sure how to manually patch it so any ideas???

The numbers on the BF2 menu are advanced version numbers, even if they say something way different than 1.41 it is still 1.41.

How many servers are you getting?????

If you have anything like 1000-3000 then 1.41 is running o.k

If the number in the corner is 1.1.2965-797.0 then you're patched to 1.41.

i only get like 800 servers...

the only things i have checked are; Same mod, PB, Same version

If the number in the corner is 1.1.2965-797.0 then you're patched to 1.41.

This is the important thing. Number of servers can vary for many reasons including your filters or some issue with the master server.

800 servers is alot i guess
