What the hell is "redlining"? I have seen in this forum a few times, but have no idea what it means.

A pilot takes the chopper to the outer parts of the map untill the gunner reaches the part where you get the "Are you going AWOL soldier?". The pilot then waits for the gunner to die, then flies away and goes solo.

its a great way to get banned on any legit server. its just another result of stats, ranks, and selfish players. sometimes its amazing how many people forget its a team game.

i guess if your a self centered asswipe of a player it sure is although real players deal with the situation. theres nothing more gratifying that banning some tking fuk who thinks hes hot sh!t at soloing and red lines his gunner. if theres nobody to gun fine, have fun and solo it up but tking your gunner deserves a ban every time.

That's horsesh*t. People would still be doing this even if stats were not kept: saying stats are responsible for this is akin to saying forks are responsible for people being fat or that firearms are responsible for murders.

People redline because

1- they want to fly alone, unhindered
2- they want to fly with a friend
3- they want to get rid of a bad gunner (variation on 1&2)
4- et cetera.

It's not related to stats, people. Give that excuse a rest.

if playing fair and respecting your fellow players is being a tightass then i guess so, hell i only run the top servers in the world, what would i know right? i know respecting your fellow players will get you allot further than a round of solo tv guiding ever could.

SO,,, its still no excuse to kill some one who is "trying". if you have a server where you allow tkers, froce tkers, deadzoneing, foul language you will not have a server at all!!

Should be a server option really.

Knowing EA, we would only have an option to filter out "No Noobs" servers.

I hate when some nut gets in my chooper thinking "oh man I'm an Ace" but he can't hit a soldier right infront of his face.

Seriously I hate it, when you die time and time again because he never looks where you point him, or he uses TV on soldiers when another chopper is infront of his ungly face.

Man, I'm sorry if this sounds bad but it pisses me off so much with guys like that.

there's lotsa them out there, what i hate the worse is you wait on a chopper & somebody gets pilot & u get the gunner seat & he wont move till you get out!, keeps texting "GET OUT PLZ" had that happen lotsa times & ever time its cuz his friend is waiting & thats ok, but heck i waiting in line, that'd happen to me a few times, to kkeep arguments down or to keep from getting redlined i just get out.
even worse than that had peep tk before chopper arrives tryn to get rid of you, or shoot you a few times in leg hoping you'll leave.

Its a bunch on BS, people even say their doing it for the greater good, by "using a valuable asset properly". This is utter rubbish as its just a way of being selfish and obtaining e-penis viagra.
