  • Cant find install folder for Battlefield 2

    Yes, I uninstalled the game a while back. Now, I want to install it. So I installed it from the disk. No problems there. Then, I downloaded the full 1.41 patch with EA Link, go to install and it says that. "Cant find install folder for Battlefield 2". I installed it in the default directory.

    Please help!

    Have you double checked that it is actually there by going into program files? Could have been a bad install.

      I have the same problem.

        Start > Run > regedit > HKEY_Local_Machine > Software > Electronic Arts > EA Games > Battlefield 2 > Double Click " InstallDir " change the drive letter if the path is default.

        if there is no "InstallDir";

        in the window on the right,, right click > add > string value,, name it " InstallDir " , then double click it and in the Value box put " C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 " change C to your drive letter,
